What if I put the long screws on top and bottom instead of their original position? My door is really weird and the hole is too big so I would need to change the screws up. Would it be a huge problem?

Do you drill through the latch for the 2 screws?

Wasting my time. Beating around the bush by telling me how your grandfather fell in love with your grandmother and how they date and what they did, and finally telling me how your dad was given birth then telling me your father and mother's story and finally how to identify the type of door closer. But the video just ended without actually telling me anything. 😡

Wow that was so un professional - pre drill the timber so it doesn't split ! Even the 600mm stud spacing either side of the door opening says basic and I just manage to do the bare minimum ... not great guys ... clearly not Carpenters ... won't be buying from you .. or watching any more UA-cam from you

This saved me from waking up every evening because exactly on the other side of my apartment's bedroom wall there's a heavy door with this thing installed. I decreased the closing speed a little and adjusted the latching to be less powerful and now I can barely hear the door close when neighbors use it instead of feeling like someone is constantly shutting it close with full force.

VERY HELPFUL INDEED ! You unlocked the mysteries of our closer (Geze TS 4000 S). Thanks to this video I have learned a lot about door closers in my journey to fix the main door of our block of flats which was slamming shut in the wind and the noise reverberated around the building to the point where we dreaded people using the door. The closer was poorly installed by a so called qualified locksmith and the adjustments were way off what they should have been. Now all good and we can sleep in peace ! Thanks again

Help!! I have a Stanley brand mirrored bifold door that doesn't have any hardware or tracks. I bought them from a garage sale. They are really heavy. The company is not making the parts anymore and I've searched everywhere for them. I don't know what else I can use.
